Teaching is my second career. Previously I was a travel agent/agency manager. I began my career at Interboro High School in 1997, after having done my student teaching here in the fall of 1994. Before coming to Interboro I taught at Tredyffrin-Eastown Middle School and Springfield High School, along with daily substituting in various districts in Delaware County. Interboro is the best!
I have a BA from Rutgers University in German, a BS from Immaculata University in Home Economics Education, and will be receiving a Masters in Education from Gratz College in May 2009. I belong to the Family and Consumer Sciences Education Association, the National and Pennsylvania Family and Consumer Sciences Associations, and the Chester County Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. I have received the professional designation of Certified in Family and Consumer Sciences.
Along with teaching, I enjoy sewing, reading, cooking, decorating, dog shows and traveling. I am a Revolutionary War re-enactor for the 2nd Pennsylvania Regiment of Foot and the British 43rd Regiment. I am married and have one grown son.
Every student brings unique interests and talents. I look forward to discovering them.
